Brooklyn Art Library Sketchbook Series is the ideal playground for letting go, unlocking creative potential, and developing individual style. The workshop explores the endless possibilities of the sketchbook, be it as a journal, diary, or visual memoir—sketchbooks are all about expressive mark making, learning, and storytelling. 

The workshop aims to dig into creativity and break out of comfort zones for participants of all disciplines and skill levels. Learn the basics of mark making, visual storytelling, discuss various drawing techniques and experiment with different tools and media—wet and dry.

Each participant will be encouraged to complete an entire 5" x 7" sketchbook for the Brooklyn Art Library. https://brooklynartlibrary.org
